Radiation level very low as No risk on body
Click here for the updated results (in Japanese) of environmental radiation level-check
such as air dose rate, radiation level in tap water and in droppings in
Morioka, monitored by Iwate Environmental and Health R&D center. Morioka
City also monitored the radiation level at public facilities and parks.

If you moved to Morioka without moving residence certificate from Fukushima
Morioka City provides municipal service for those who does not move residence
certificate from the particular cities/towns in Fukushima and now living
in Morioka. For the details of service to be provided and the designated
cities/towns in Fukushima and etc., please contact to Saigai Taisaku Honbu
(Disaster Headquarters) TEL:651-4111 (Ext.3924-3930).

Radiation level in burned ash in general waste very low in Morioka

general waste and in water and sewage plant. Both fall much below to the
national standard of 8,000 Bq.

Application for Relief fund subsidy
Please contact to Kaikei Ka (Account Division) if you are the citizen of
Morioka and also either the bereaved, your own house was half or more destroyed
or a resident of half or more destroyed welfare facility, you are eligible
to apply for the relief fund subsidy.
For further information, such as what to bring to apply, how much subsidy
you may receive and etc., please contact to Kaikei Ka, City Hall TEL:651-4111(ext.

Pause issuing Hisaishoumei (disaster-victim certificate) for Expressways
Due to toll-free will start in Tohoku expressways from December 1, issuing
Hisaishoumei will be closed on November 30.

Support Center)
